Overview

topos ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data.

Data Collection

All of your data is stored locally on your device:

• Flashcards you create
• Study sessions and statistics
• Deck organization
• Memory Palace configurations

AI Processing

When you use the AI flashcard generation feature:

• Your text is sent to OpenAI's API to generate flashcards
• OpenAI processes the text according to their privacy policy
• We do not store your input text on our servers
• Generated flashcards are saved locally on your device only

Analytics

We do not currently collect any analytics data. If we add analytics in the future, we will use privacy-friendly solutions that do not collect personally identifiable information.

Subscription Data

If you subscribe to topos pro:

• Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple via the App Store
• We receive only anonymous subscription status information
• We do not have access to your payment details

iCloud Sync

When iCloud sync is enabled (coming in a future update):

• Your flashcards and study data will sync via your personal iCloud account
• We do not have access to your iCloud data
• Syncing is controlled by you and can be disabled anytime

Children's Privacy

topos does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app is rated 4+ and suitable for all ages.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
